GiulioTanini, a design partner of excellence, has participated in the redevelopment of a prestigious apartment from the early twentieth century in the historic center of Trieste, a cultured project with a deep Central European breath signed by the Marcante-Testa studio.
In the heart of Trieste, GiulioTanini joins the Marcante-Testa studio in the renovation of an early twentieth-century apartment. An intervention of excellence focused on the custom marble supply of the Frieze collection by Ex.t.
Dealing with an interior architecture full of cultural references — from the textile theories of Anita Pittoni to the geometric suggestions of Josef Hoffmann and the Bauhaus — required an integrated approach, capable of making the complexity of aesthetic research dialogue with the precision of the executive rendering.
The intervention concerned the supply of the bathrooms, where the selection of the Frieze collection (design Marcante-Testa for Ex.t) was taken care of through a fully customized version in marble. Every detail has been finished to integrate with the sophisticated play of materials and colors of the house, raising the standard of the wellness area through a millimetric processing of the stone material that enhances the tactile contact and the solidity of the natural block.
The architecture, characterized by a Brutalist language and the use of innovative construction technologies in concrete and wood, is inspired by the great masters of Modernism, integrating harmoniously into the hillside landscape.
