Our collaboration took place within a highly technically complex context, involving the demolition of existing industrial structures and the repurposing of spaces to create an office campus.
GiulioTanini reaffirms its identity as a design partner of excellence by participating in the functional and aesthetic redevelopment of the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo in Florence, one of the most prestigious and significant museum complexes in the world.
The intervention saw the Group engaged in the technical supply for an art treasure chest that houses the largest concentration of Florentine monumental sculpture.
The project testifies to GiulioTanini’s management ability and technical expertise in operating in contexts of very high historical-artistic and constraint value. Dealing with the legacy of a structure that protects the masterpieces of Arnolfo, Donatello and Michelangelo required an integrated approach, capable of making the needs of contemporary hospitality dialogue with the solemnity of the centuries-old architecture that make up the monumental complex of the Duomo.
The intervention concerned the technical and specialized supply of the rooms, where the selection of materials and components was taken care of to integrate with the sober elegance and materiality of the museum spaces. Every detail has been refined to ensure a comfort experience that does not overpower, but serves the exhibition path, raising the standard of the service areas through the use of noble materials and millimetric executive precision.
